Super Interlock — Colour-Blended Interlock Pavers

Super Interlock is EGY-CRETE's colour-blended interlock. Instead of one flat colour through the paver, two or more shades are blended and pressed into each unit at the factory, so the laid surface carries natural variation from the first square metre. It is made in three shapes — Rectangle, I-Shape and Hexagon — in the same dimensions, thicknesses and technical specification as the matching standard interlock.

The difference is the look, not the engineering. Standard interlock is a single solid colour; Super Interlock carries blended shades inside every paver, so a finished area reads as natural stone rather than one uniform block of colour. Sizes, thicknesses (60 and 80 mm), units per m², weight per m², compressive strength and water absorption are identical, and both are made to ASTM C936 and BS EN 1338.

Five factory colour mixes: Grey Mix, Rose Mix, Mustard Mix, Rose-Light Grey Mix and Rose-Dark Grey Mix. The mix names describe photographed samples — because the shades are blended during pressing, no two pavers are identical, so confirm the final look against a physical sample before ordering.

Super Rectangle is 100×200 mm at 50 pieces/m². Super I-Shape is 200×165 mm at 36 pieces/m². Super Hexagon is 200×230 mm at 29 pieces/m². All three are made in 60 mm and 80 mm: 60 mm for pedestrian areas, gardens and plazas, 80 mm wherever vehicles run.

Yes, in 80 mm. Super I-Shape is the heavy-traffic choice because it interlocks on every side and spreads vehicle loads best — it suits roads, industrial and port yards. Super Rectangle in 80 mm handles villa driveways, compound roads and light parking.

In EGY-CRETE's own factories in Egypt — three plants in Badr Industrial City east of Cairo and one in Sadat City — on fully automated European hydraulic pressing lines. The colour blending happens on the line during pressing, which is why the variation runs through the paver instead of sitting on the surface.
